Catherine Girczyc’s career creative writing has been mostly in TV. She is now writing prose and television projects while working as a corporate communications manager.

Also an SF fan, she’s a two-time Aurora winner, for hosting an SF radio show, and editing a fanzine. She was a recent Aurora nominee for a poem, "Card" in 2018.  

She wrote episodes for two one hour dramas: Just Cause (WTN), The Collector, (SPACE). She was story consultant and wrote episodes for a season of True Pulp Murder (MysteryTV). 

Cat is a professional television writer with fifteen produced TV scripts to her credit.

She is an active member of the Writers Guild of Canada (WGC), Canada’s professional screenwriting organization.

As well as being a TV writer, Catherine previously worked in several other production capacities: script consultant, coordinator, writer’s assistant, footage buyer, researcher.
